Video of Manufacturing Tanks during WW2
Chrysler Corporation is know for it High performance cars. The Dodge Ram truck and many more vehicles. But few people remember they designed and built the Sherman. Most of the original tank on Van Dyke road, Centerline, Michigan USA is gone. Only a small section is left of this once massive plant. Here is the story.

Frightful how such an important part of history can disappear in a single lifetime
ReplyDeleteThe amazing part is that before the plant was constructed. Centerline was nothing but farm country. That is the problem with Detroit and the tri county area. Once it gets old. Bulldoze it down. So much for histroy.
