As of late I have been spammed by porn posters. They go back on older posts to post comments. This forced me to now to approve comments. It is pretty sad that most of this is coming out of India. It my take me awhile before you see your comments. Hope you will all understand
I had the same problem, I have found that if you put the old post in Draft mode for a week or so they give up. I'm pretty sure they are spambots making the comments.
