How to make a 3d ASL Map Broad by George Hoitis

George posted this on the Classic Squad Leader broad.  If you have every play Squad Leader or Advanced Squad Leader there are time it becomes a pain to  figure out line of sight. In SL or ASL this is critical in winning or loosing a battle.  George broad design solves this problem.  He has done this by turning the board into a 3d battle broad.   The process is simple and pretty quick to do.

Where I spent youth 50 years ago.  Not my photos. These are off a face book page.  The purpose is to honor my follow Vietnam veterans.   Most of us where 19 to 21 yrs old.  I miss the Apollo mission and Tigers winning the World Series.   Had some the best time of my life. Also some of the most terrifying one too.

Japanese garden wall finished.

A while back I bought a set of Japanese Garden wall.  At that this time I had not purchased my 3d printer.     The set ws made by Dave N Daughter more here:Oriental walls

Here is a step by step explanation on how I painted them.

Paints I used.

The grey base was dry brushed on, Follow reddish color very 5 stones. 

The light grey was applied every ten stones. 

Base color applied over a black background.

Bluff color extra fine ballast applied to the wall with white glue.

The wall painted vintage white ( Folkart paint). The lower stone wall was washed with Reikland Fresh shade.
