I loved his blog. Mike just disappeared. There have been no new posts of his for over a year. Can anyone tell what happened to him.
Thanks

Her Majesty Attack Walker with 37 mm Gatling gun
It seems the campaign for Neulandia is heating up a bit. With the appearance of United States Steam robot. Now the Mexican force have automated their cavalry. Plus the use of the new American Model T Ford. The British Expedition has quested support.
What I did was go to Ebay to find some 40K Imperial Guard walkers. At least I could find some fairly inexpensive (Cheap). There I found a used Sentinel at was perfect. All I had to do was make look like it came from the Victorian SF period. In order to do that I removed the Imperial Guard eagle. Cut off the guardsman's head. The head was replaced with a spare head from the Perry Miniatures British Colonials set. For the repaint I picked the color off the British Steam Engines of the period.. Hope you like them. If you have comments or suggestions please post in the comments section. Oh I'm looking for 28mm British flags decals to place on the walker. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Archers for Lion Rampant. Repainting old Bretonnia archers
A while back Saxon Dog posted pictures of repainted 40WHF bretonnia archers. David did an amazing job with these figures. Than it hit me... Some where in the room of doom I had a small band of archers I had painted. After digging through a pile of stuff.. And I mean stuff... I found them all dusty in the their bins in the storage box.
Must admit I stole what David had done. All except re basing the figures on a larger base. My do this in the future. Here are my archers... Hope you like them.. Oh I'm not the best face painter.

Let there be Romans
Another bunch off of face book. This Roman reenactment group is great. The picture give one an idea of what the Roman soldiers kit looked like.

Getting better... Slowly
I saw a spinal rehab doctor.. The doctor is a Chiropractor that specializes in lower back and neck pain. It is working I feel a lot better. No tears in my eyes when I move now. The Doctor determined my right leg was 4mm shorter. The X rays showed my spine up against the nerve. The problem is my additional supplement health insurance doesn't recognize Chiropractors. My cost is going to be close to $800 dollars for the full treatment. This is the uncovered part of Medicare. It worth it as the pain is going away. Now with my bad luck, I twisted my left knee some how. This knee has a bone chip that likes to move around. It is hurting making climbing stairs a tough one. But I except this I am not a young man anymore. So much for the golden years of retirement. Its a lie.. ;)

Slow posting stuff lately
I have been a little out of commission the last few weeks. A very old back injury has slow me down. Today I went to the doctor's to find out what I can do. After taking some xrays the cause is the spine is pressing against my nerve. Messed up my back 35 yrs ago. Old age is making it worse. I'm scheduled for bunch of session to fix the problem. Hope to get some pictures up soon.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker PC game
This just popped up on the Pathfinder face book page. I really like the Pathfinder, but no one in my small group is interested in this roleplay game system. So I'm like the lone ranger. With this being made by the people who created Fallout... Well has to be good right now it on Kickstarter.

Thegyn Sword
This is from the Thegns of Mercia facebook page. The page is just full of great information. Now I know what color to paint my swords hilts for my Anglo Saxons.
Presenting "Unsār" - a sword recreation with a difference. Incorporating a faithful reproduction of the mysterious stray 5th century Kragehul-type pommel from Compton-Verney, Warwickshire by our friend Andrew Mason, a simple hilt by member Æd Thompson and sheath based on various early Anglo-Saxon finds.
The pommel (https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/526418) is characteristically 'Germanic' yet astoundingly early in style - supposedly pre-dating the arrival of Anglo-Saxon settlers in this region. Its tempting to imagine how it ended up deep in the Midlands, of all places, alongside the Fosse Way.
What makes this sword recreation so different, though? Keep an eye out for the next post to find out!

Nothing like great pictures to help you paint your miniatures. I need to finish up my Footsore Roman British. Trying to find out what color to paint my scale armor troops. Bronze or iron anyone has a suggestion?

Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham Warbands for Blood Eagle.
This is great addition for Blood Eagle. Everyone love Robin Hood growing up. I seen all of them from Errol Flynn to the latest. Looks like I can use my WHF figures for this adventure. I would like to buy more of the metal figures but the prices on Ebay will take your breathe.
