WW2 photos for modelling reference.
Here are a series of WW2 photos. Great rference for modeling building, Dioramas and good old history. If one would look closely at the photos. They moments in time frozen forever. We should remember these are all young men 18 to 22 yrs old. An old fart was 25 and olders. No matter what side they fought for. They give all for their nation, beliefs and loved ones. Unfortunately individual of this age today live in their parents basement. Or out causing destruction/riots. What a difference has been made in 75 plus years.

Today is Gary Gyax day
Every roleplayer should know what day it's today.
July 27, 1938, was the birthday of the unforgettable Gary Gygax, and today we pay homage to him.
Hail to the first Dungeon Master, to the dad of D&D! The man without whom the world of role-playing as it is today would perhaps not even exist! Thanks for all the memories created with friends playing D & D

future 3d projects
Currently I'm finishing up the Stalingrad department store. Waiting to hear back from the gamer that commissioned the print, This print is on its second week of running. Next is this.
This will be in 15mm scale. This is a Siebel Ferry. The German navy used these everywhere. Hope to post pictures of the Department store.

Dyson Dodecahhedrom Old School maps
In the early days of Warhammer these maps were the bomb. Same goes for his books, drawings and character sheets. Yo my amazement these are still being produced. The artist is still alive and well creating his magically maps. Lucky for us we can be found on RPG Download store. Currently all of his work is on sale. As RPO is having their Christmas in July sale.

The good old days of D&D
Remember all the kool dungeons that your Game Master created. All of those evil and tricky traps. Nasty surprise lurking around the corner. The beautiful barmaid that turn into a blood sucking hag.
Or traveling on ship that goes into a misty. Next thing you know your in a cold damp cell naked. Ah the good old days of meeting every other saturday...

Printing Stalingrad Department store in 20mm
A read of this blog contacted me to see if I could print the Stalingrad Department store in 20mm scale. I agreed to printing the department store. Let's say it is much larger than the 15mm scale one I print. Lucky for me I can use both printers. he Ender 3 is running at the max for it bed. This print barely fits. The CR-10s is printing the three story corners of the building. The Ender does not have the height to make these. To run the two corners of the Department store the is 23 hrs for the left corner. WHile the right corner is 22 1/2 hours. Having had to bad starts with loss to the print was do to surprise thunderstorms. The print had made the halfway point. I need to find the code to add to the printer that can do a recovery.
Now for your viewing enjoyment .

Squad Leader where it all started
I remember when the original Squad came out. I was in the Navy at that time. Working the 2nd shift. Basically we were just recovering aircraft and doing quick fixes. Having a number of large tables we could set up a game. When it was end of shift we could leave the game on the board. That way we could come back the next night to continue the battle. I was in a VP squadron.
My squadron mate and I played a number of games. But Joe got promoted to Chief. That is an automate transfer. When his transfer came in that was the end of Squad Leader for me.
Remember these...
