Passing of a Great friend Bill Parrish
I just learned from Anton that a mutual friend has passed away. Unfortunately I don't have the date. I met Bill Parrish via Bob Webb. That was a friendship that lasted from the mid 70's on. During my time in the service and many different life events we lost touch.
Bill worked for Broughs working on computers in the 70's. He will me build my first computer. Bill and I long to a small group of gamers. We would meet twice a month. But the group fell apart when the automobile collapse in the late 80's. We play 40K, Warhammer fantasy and all kinds of historical games.
Bill was big into Korean Taekwondo. He had became an instructor. R.I.P. Buddy hope to meet you on the other side.

Japanese Army aircraft 1937-1940
Felt like I should not deny the Japanese Army aircraft. So Anton here are some Nates. Here is a link to Anton's airwarfare game: Red stars and Rising Suns
NOVA con
This is the ultimate con for 40k gamers. But one should know what happened there. Wonder why everyone was wearing mask during the con. I got no dog in this hunt. Just wanted to let people know what happened.

China 19387-38 Japanese aircraft
Posting this for my buddy Anton. He has been a China air war with Bi-plane.
Here are some camo schemes he could use. Fine Models make a majority of these in 1/72 scale.

1/6 scale Clone troopers
I never knew how large collecting there figures was. I remember back in the 90's when modelers just started collect the WW2 1/6 figures. The long gone Old Guard Hobby shop could not keep those figurs in stock. The video show how to make your own clone trooper. Enjoy.

Created cavalry stands in 3d CAD
I decide to creat new 3d printed cavalry stands. Why you say because I had a large amount of pill standd cavalry from my Baron's War army. Dusted of my CAD skills in Fusion 360. Create 3 and 4 cavalry slot stands. During the process if designing the stand I opted to use 5mm diameter magnets. Why because I had a ton of the little buggers. The magnets are a press fill, That way I didn't need to glue the magnets in place
Half way through the print |
The print run finished, |
Single three slot cavalry stand, |
5mm dia magnets pressed in the base holes |
Baron's war horse mounting the cavalry single stnd |
view in the cavalry with magnets installed |
Just need to finish paint the horses and figures. |
