After all these years. People dont remember that some of our allies in the far east joined the US troops. The Australians and Koreans where the biggest supporters in the conflict. This is the first of a series of photographs from Ruch Carrie FB pages. Don't know who tooks these. As I am posting these to preserve history of the Men , Women who serviced in Vietnam. Plus those who give their lives.

Well done Gary. There are a lot of great photos on the 2 CAV website of armoured vehicles in Vietnam.
ReplyDeleteI have quite a few photos given to me by my two uncles, one served with 6 RAR and the other with the 1st field RAE. They both come home quite different men. Sadly many have passed away too early due to PTSD or chemical related lung conditions.
When I served in the eighties we had a number of NCOs who had served in Vietnam, they passed on a lot of experience to the officers, ncos and the lads.
Cheers
Matt
Matt, Glad like the photos. The Australians never got a lot of credit for doing their part of the Vietnam. I have bunch more to post. Hand Salute to your uncles at have past. I to have health problems from Agent Orange. Too many of buddies the serve also have pasted on.
