The series looks to be very interesting. But being made for TV the story line has changed. The book "Last Kingdom" start with the main Character Uhtred as young boy growing into a young man of twenty. Bernard Cornwell weaves a great story start in 886. Saxon vs Danes a crash of two different cultures.
The reason is I love it is because of the history. Plus the series give me a storyline for Too Fat Lardies Dux Britanniarum game. Now I need to finish painting my Romano-british.
