Air War stand for Red Star and Raising Sun

 Last night I played Anton's new Air War game.  Sadly I got my Chinese pilots butt kicked . By who turned out to be Ex-Spanish Civil war Aces.  At the same time I discover all their aircraft are very stuff.  So we just suck up the bullets from my twin 7.7 machineguns.  During the game Anton and I discussed the design for the stands.  Here is the first version of the stand. His requirement was a die holder for shown the Altitude of the aircraft. A arrow indicating the nose and direction of the aircraft.

Here are some camo schemes he could use.  Fine Models make a majority of these in 1/72 scale.

Owner of P & D hobbies passed away.

  This is a shocker for me.  His store has been the go to place for all hobby related items.  Always had a great selection of model kits, trains, RC models and gaming supplies like 40 k.   If you wanted sometime Pat would find it for you.  Rest in Peace Patrick.

Best of show winner 2013 and 2015 built by Marc Schachter

Both of the pictured aircraft won best of show.   The P-51 won the 2013 nationals and the P-47 this year (2015).   Both were built by the same person.   Amazing work in my eyes.  All photos are off internet sites and facebook.
