Who was JohnSteel the artist. Box Top Artist

Something different.  Wonder who the artist of the model box top where. Growing up, the model top had some kool drawing on the front.  The art would inspire one to build the kit. Then pretent you are the pilot of the aircraft in the air battle.  John Steel was one.  MAx models on you tube is doing series of video on these artist.
