These are some of the nice 28 mm vikings I have seen in a while. But I'm Leary because they are resin cast. Will they hold up to my heavy handed hands of not. A set of 8 cost 20 pounds/ 26 US dollars id steep. Now that postal cost out of the U.K. have gone insane like in the US. Can I really afford to buy them and only used them once in a great while. I could write all day about the shitty service from the USPS. Oh their outrage postal costs.. Anyway here are the miniatures. You decide.

28mm scale Saxon Church
The print came out great. The total run time was just over 36 hours. This time I made sure that the first level was put down to the glass bed with no problems. The two 28mm figures are to show the size of the church. Currently make the walls for the Norman Castle. Each wall section run for 24 hours. Looks like this will take a week or two to complete. Hope this will inspire people to try 3d printing to their game table

Victrix Libyan Spear men
During the time I was laid up from my knee replacement. I managed to assemble my Carthaginian army that was sitting to dungeon. Lucky I found before my wife put them some place where I would never find them. They are based for Impetus. Impetus to me looks and should play a good ancient battle.

Templar Knight Orders uniform guide
The main Catholic military orders of the monastic-knights -with a Knight Templar in the middle. In the medieval period the knights here identified as Malte are the Knights of Malta. Also as Hospitallers or Knight on Saint John of Jerusalem.
I hope this will help people in painting the Knights for Saga, or any other game using miniature knights

Basing for 28mm Impetus rules.
I'm in the middle of re basing my ancients for Impetus. If figured I have the rules and troop, so why not. I was using sabot with 20 mm round bases. It has turned out to be a pain in the butt. The keep falling out of the sabot. The plan was to convert them over to magnets. But why, it is not needed for Impetus. Beside my Saga troops and ECW are setup for 25 mm round bases with magnets. Below is the official Impetus basing for 28 mm
Impetus is a 28mm scale wargaming system by Dadi & Piombo that can be used for Ancients, Medieval or Renaissance periods. We produce a range of MDF bases that are perfect for the game system.
To make things easier for you guys, we’ve summarized the common base sizes below along with their corresponding links in the online store – the following list assumes you are using 20mm or 25/28mm scale miniatures.
- 40mm x 60mm – half width base for skirmishers and heavy infantry
- 60mm x 60mm – half width base for light/heavy infantry and shooters
- 40mm x 120mm – full width base for skirmishes and heavy infantry
- 60mm x 120mm – full width base for light/heavy infantry and shooters
- 80mm x 120mm – full width base for cavalry and artillery
