Looks like I getting around to finish up my M1A1. These have been laying around since last spring. My problem is not siting still to finish a project.    A company called Hataka Hobby makes a MERDC set.   It is time to get off my butt to finish this project..

Winter Verdant is the most common MERDC scheme used in Europe

Everyone needs these Legionaries from Black Hat Miniatures

The first of the Character Sets for the Exotic Adventures range by Unfeasibly Miniatures depicting Laurel & Hardy from their classic film Beau Hunks. Our sculptor has created 28mm true scale (1/56) miniatures of the Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy, capturing their relaxed posses as Legionnaires in the French Foreign Legion. Beau Hunks
Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy join the French Foreign Legion after Ollie’s sweetheart Jeanie-Weenie rejects him,When they arrive at the barracks in Algeria, they discover that not only are the other soldiers trying to forget lost loves, their lost loves all happen to be the same woman Ollie is trying to forget: Jeanie-Weenie!
On an expedition to Fort Arid, a fortress besieged by native Riffian tribesmen, the duo get cut off from the rest of the regiment in a sandstorm and reach the fortress before the others. Surprisingly, the boys defeat the Riffians by themselves and the leader of the Riffians is revealed as another one of Jeanie-Weenie’s conquests.
The back packs are interchangeable, as Ollie begins with the large pack before realising that he is carrying both their kit and passing it over to Stan on their march to the surrounded French Foreign Legion fort, the standard backpack, from FFLX1 also fits, providing great versatility for these figures.
THIS PACK IS LIMITED TO 100 CASTINGS

About million years ago I played Hero Quest with my children.  By the way who are now in their late 30's.   The game looks like it could be fun.   Can anyone tell what it is like?   I would like to play this game with my grandson. Thanks

Footsore videos on how to prep a miniature

Bill Thornhill has made a series of very helpful videos.  He shows you how prep a figure for painting. Drilling hole for spears on your miniature.  Nice tip was using a 1 mm Dia drill.  No more guessing as to what drill to use.  The video is on how to make your own spears.

Needless to say Footsore are my favorite miniatures.   Best part Footsore has their own you tube channel.

Up coming Nuelandia Campaign using MWWBK rules

The campaign is starting to roll.   I have been trading insults with Maxillanio 1st over the land I intend to colonize.  The Kaiser has organized an expedition to explore the new continent. But has claimed all the land.

As of late no word from the French, or Americans.   I hope it will be a fun fill adventure for all.  The Anton is also the game master.   He plan to add in some small scale actions and skulduggery.   Right now we are not sure if small actions rules with In Her Majesty's name or Antons  really simple shot out rules.

Yesterday my Perry Natal Cavalry arrived.  Along with some Black Tree design Boers.  The Perry miniatures are more 25mm in size.  Currently all my troops are 28mm in size.   Not sure what I will do with them.

My special ops group will be lead by Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson.

 and supported by these troops.

In time far far ago.. I was a 40K junkie.. But Dark Heresy Role play is awake the force in me.

About a million years ago I bought Only war when the book first came out.  The idea of role playing for 40k was something I do..   Way back I mean why.  Like when Rogue Trader first came out.  I belonged to a small group that liked playing it.

Now I have Dark Heresy.   Slowly going through the rules.  It has got me inspired to play.  The problem is I need to know how the mechanics work.   During my daily search via google I found this.

RollPlay Dark Heresy you tube video...  Damn this is what I have been look for.  Well I going to share with you the video series...  Just maybe it will inspire another 40k junkie.  Oh by the way there are 54 videos in the series.   You have the first one....

Sharp Practice 2nd edition video on how to play

Another set of rules laying about in the file of rules.  Sharp Practice to me looking like a interesting game.  The group I play with uses 15mm only for Napoleonic's.  But I had jump on to 25mm Plastic  by Perry Brothers and Victrix.   This before I got into the group.  Now I have Chosen.  To me Chosen looks a little like Sharp Practice.   Hope to do a small review on Chosen at a later date.    Now for the videos.
