Sdfk 250 restored

Here is the description. Amazing part is most of the vehicle is unrestored, just cleaned after coming out of the river.  These photos should be a great addition in building a model of the Sdfk 250.

Zentihal priming method

Bas de Rue Zentihal paint method

So I tried something different today. After zenithal priming, I used a mix of Tamiya white and Deck tan to airbrush all the white on these French infantry. It went on very smooth and opaque. And in a fraction of the time it would take brushpainting white. I did 36 figures in 1,5 hours. The rest of the colours I’ll block in with a brush. Front Rank 28mm French reinforcement set.

Sharps Pratice "Invasion of Invasion of Martinique (1809)"

The photos are from the Gold Coast Gaming group, Queensland, AU

Good times in the West Indies. For a bit of fun I threw a table together for the Caribbean to spice up our Sharp Practice 2 game.
The idea was a french ship tucked into an estuary under the watchful eye of a shore battery. It was a bit of fun to have a Napoleonic game on a Caribbean island.
In the end the HMS Cherub and the landing party were so battered that the Royal Navy was obliged to with draw.
Great fun and a good looking, unusual game.
