Great to see that SAGA is this going strong in Germany. It seems the SAGA has all but disappeared in the U.S. Specially in my area in Michigan. Enjoy their FB post and photo. I love the building that they have used for the tourament.
SAGA GERMAN GRAND MELEE - UPDATE
Regarding this year's Grand Melees, there is crucial news. Due to the opaque sect entanglements of the owners of Graefenthal Monastery, we are distancing ourselves from this event venue. We had no knowledge of the entanglements in the background at the time we chose the beautiful monastery as a location for this year's Grand Melle.Definitely a pity!
Good that there are so many beautiful historical locations in Germany. And so we can inform you that after 5 years there is a return to the Oerlinghausen open-air museum.
So we're going to play SAGA in a real viking longhouse again.
The date has already been set: 6. -7. August
Participants: 32 (more don't fit in)
Eras: Vikings (incl. Skraelingers), Invasions, Crusades
5 games (3 Saturday, 2 Sunday)
Army size: 7 points you choose from 6 points per game
No legendary units
