Hayes is client of mine for custom 3d prints. Several posts back I post a interview video of him. At histrocon he has had some amazing battle terrain for his games. Most are a reworked ASL rules in miniature. Here are some photos he sent me of game he put in a local hobby shop. Believe in is the Marine take Tulagi. His model skills are impressive.
I think 3d printing has raised the bar in model and wargaming. We use an 2017 DaVinci jnr. The scope of free files is now huge. You can even make your own. We first used 3d on our huge 16 foot board to great effect. I remember everyone asking where did you get a 28mm Famo! We recently did our own LVP 1 print. A printer is a fantastic addition to the toolbox.
