Dungeons and Dragon

It stuck me today that I have been playing D&D on off for over 50 yrs.  Yes 50yrs first of all where did the time go.  Groups I played with faded away in the Sunset.  The group I played the longest with six years straight broke up.  As the younger one moved off to college out of state.   As of late the newest group made it a year.  The DM just faded away in the middle of an awesome campaign.  Now I'm in a new group with a bunch of youngsters.  Plus start at 1st level.  Because of vacation and being out of the country I have missed 3 sessions.  But that is the way it is.  I felt this cartoon is a appropriate to me being the ancient one.
