Yes that is a question we all ask after a contest.  Sadly most of us modeler's never get an answer.  So we are pissed off at the Judges, the IPMS, AMPS and etc.   But with the AMPS folks you get a sheet showing how your model fared.    Here is an article about some of the basics.  It is well written with some good points.  That way if you screw up. You can correct your mistake or start a new model.
