Another flash back 53 years ago in a tropical hell hole. You will notice we are all kids. 18 - 23yrs. Fighting for our nation against communism. Unlike today where kids embrace it. A friend mine Chris was with these naval unit. On his fourth day his boat got blown to hell. He was thrown from the boat with his M60. Chris was knocked out. The rescue didn't find any survivors. It took Chris four days to find his way back to base camp. The corpman was amazed he was still alive because of the numerous wounds. His total time in Veitnam 10 days. He was medivac to Japan. After months in body cast he was medically discharged. Chris would never take off his shirt no matter how hot it was, The scares reminded him everyday that God look out for him.
