I have both the first and second edition. The rule set is not your typical I go - you go system. My first impression are that the rules are not over complicated. Some ancient thru Medieval can drive one mad. Saga I enjoy but it is hard to find people interested in this type of game play. Also when the author bought out the second edition player went mad.
