There is nothing more frustrating than rubbing off the miniatures primer. Mr hobby makes a excellent metal primer. You just brush it on. Wait 24 hours, than apply your favorite primer. Mr Hobby 1000 primer or Tamiya grey primer. You can buy this on amazon, ebay or the Sprue brother. Locally Michigan toy soldier carried this metal primer.
