Easy Eight Churchill Hit/Damage Chart

The Churchill was another tough tank to kill.  The only failing was it was just too damn slow. The other problem is was under gunned in the early part of the war. Later with larger guns the Churchill could go toe to toe with most German armor.

Battle Front 15mm M60A1/A3 tank

Yesterday my M60's arrived in the mail.  To some this is old news, plus other folks have done reviews. Here is my take.
I have been waiting to someone to release a nice model of this tank for a while.   QRF's model was disappointing.  Basically it was a lump of lead.  Same goes with most of the other ones I could buy.   Well, I'm very pleased as it a excellent model of the M60.  In the future I will be buying more to convert in most IDF version.  If you are in the hunt for some M60's on the battle field.  I suggest you buy a few.

Below are scans of the M60.  The turret detail is very well done.  Same goes for the tracks.  I like the extra 105 barrels.  Those will end up on my Tiran 5 conversion of the T55 .

Easy Eight Cruiser Tank MK IVA Hit/Damage Chart

The MK IVA was pretty much the main battle tank for the British during the early years of WW2.  Lucky for the wargamer Plastic Soldier Company and S Model make version of this early war warhorse.  Hope these chart will help you in your battles.

Easy Eight Matilda II Hit/Damage chart

Tough little tank with a very small main gun.   This tank actually made the enemy pause. Why because they are hard to knock out.....  Even the Germans like them...

Easy Eight Carro Armato M13/40 Hit/Damage Chart

Today's tank is the Carro Armato.

The M13/40 was a conventional light tank of the early war period, similar in capability to other Vickers-derived designs such as the Polish 7TP and Soviet T-26. With a weight of 13 tons, it carried armour comparable to its opponents of 1940–41. Its 47 mm long-barrelled gun was more than a match for the British tanks of 1940–41, which were similarly armoured to the M13 but carried 2pdr (40 mm) guns with shorter range and inferior ballistic performance. At that time, most German tanks were armed with 20 mm or 37 mm guns and the gun/armour race led to adoption of weapons of 50 mm calibre only during 1942. The adoption of the 47 mm long gun was probably the best feature of the M13. Due to its relatively large calibre, the main gun's HE round was also very useful against towed guns and infantry, and eliminated or at least mitigated, for the first years of war, the need for a dedicated support vehicle such as the Wehrmacht had in the early mark Panzer IV and Stug III. The diesel engine was an advantage, and the simplicity of production suited the state of Italian industry.

Easy Eight Semovente M40 DA 75/18

he Semovente da 75/18 was first used by artillery units in North Africa in Spring 1942, and was then issued to tank battalions. Production for the Italian Army was as follows: 60 based on the M40 third series in 1941, 162 based on the M41 in 1942, and 205 based on the M42 in 1943.

A gun and superstructure front from the later Semovente 75/34 are preserved in the Caserma Tazzoli at Trento.

Easy Eight Western Desert Campaign

The next series of Easy Eight charts will be the Italians for the Western Desert campaign. These will be followed by the British charts.  The British chart will be all the vehicle used by the Royal during the war.  I personally liked the Desert Campaigns as both sides were in the beginning pretty well matched in the armor at that time frame.
