Busy print out the town of Remelle. This the town in the last battle of Saving Private Ryan. The customer wanted the building in 20mm -172ns scale. Let say it is a massive under taking. My three printer are eating and spiting out filament like a hungry hog. Some of the building are taking over 24 hrs to print because of the supports need to print the building without strings. Plus I need to add more in fill to the walls are they were coming out a little thin...

Finding a Cannonball in your yard 101
If you find something that looks like a cannonball (see photo) in your yard please call 911 and let us know.
Last night, March 10th, we were called out to Mastin Avenue in the Seaford area of York County. Some children had been metal detecting and located a round metal object about two feet underground. They brought it inside where the parents saw it and called 911. Our deputies responded and kept an eye on things until personnel from the Naval Weapons Station could respond. They identified the object as a late Civil War cannonball from the Union Army. The cannonball possibly contained black powder based on the design. EOD collected the cannon ball.

Saga Maori vs The Brits.. Wherein the hell do I find dthe miniatures.. Here is the answer PT2
So far the post on the Saga Broads for the Maori vd The Brits as been pretty good. My first thought was , Hey Dude no figures for this. Well I got you covered little buddy. Empress Miniature makes some beauty sculpts for both sides. To my surmise could fit into set of the different colonial dusts that the Brits had to the late 18th century. The civilians that are armed could work with the Boer Wars. That continued right up to the WW1.
Now for the picture show.
The British Army & Civilians
The RNS
The figure can be found here from Empress Miniatures: Maori Wars
In the United States here: Age Of Glory
More to follow... If you have any suggests or information on this period please share.

Saga Boards for Maori vs Brits in New Zealand Part 1
A little history on the Maori war: Basically a skirmish type of warfare. Perfect for saga types of battles. Settlers and British military against Maori. They the Maori where and are still fierce warriors.
I have had these floating around in the saga folder. Figure it was time to bring them to the light of day
Maori wars, 1844–72. The treaty of Waitangi in 1840 was not accepted by all chiefs, nor was the confirmation of Maori land rights easy to implement. The Maoris were a warlike people and clashes continued between Maoris and settlers, and between Maori tribes. The first period of warfare began in 1844 at Kororareka and remained small scale, since most Maori tribes held aloof. A small British force took casualties but regained control by 1847. The second conflict developed after repeated incidents in Taranaki, beginning in 1860 and continuing as a guerrilla war, flaring up and dying down, until 1872. One thousand settlers and colonial troops lost their lives, and perhaps twice that number of Maoris. Three million acres of Maori land were confiscated, some restored, but the sale and loss of Maori territory continued.
